My poem “A Standard Monkey Funeral on Sunset Boulevard” has been published in the Spring 2020 edition of Funicular Magazine. It’s a creative re-imagining of the monkey funeral scene from the beginning of Sunset Boulevard and a meditation on the culture of celebrity and mourning the loss of fame in my hometown of Los Angeles.
